How to protect your mental health from bullies and people trying to bring you down

Remember it only matters what you think of yourself and what your closest friends think. If you ever find yourself in this situation where toxic tactics are being used against you, be ready to protect your mental health.

How do you do this? THROUGH POSITIVE AFFIRMATION and BY BEING VERY CONFIDENT IN WHO YOU ARE

We are going to look at positive affirmation examples of how to ensure you don't forget who you are and the good you have done.

Here is what Dean reads every day not for EGO or for being a DO-GOODER but to ensure he doesn’t forget who he is and all the positive things he has done for the environment around him. This is what counts, and these things can never be taken away because they are done. Dean has:

• Setup the HPP and has helped countless people with their mental health.

• Setup Awesome Cardiff contributing to increasing tourism figures within Cardiff.

• Volunteered for over 50 charities helping them with their cause and growing their influence, ultimately helping people.

• Increased digital sales 20% year on year for countless businesses over the past 18 years.

• For 7 years and still does, Dean volunteer's on a prison outreach programme helping people who have been to prison get on their feet when released from prison.

• Worked on the homeless outreach as a volunteer and cook for 5 years.

• Worked as a youth leader for 2 years educating youngsters about the dangers of alcohol.

• Raised £2500 for Tenovus Cancer Care running London Marathon.

• Taken part in “To Grangetown Town with Love” for the past two years.

• Helped raise £2500 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Dean has many more positive affirmations to add but these are just a handful of examples.

Don't let bullies who have rejected you and discriminated against you win. Positive affirmation will help you stay confident and protect your identity.
